About Kumevi Portal

Kumevi Portal serves as a unified platform for all services offered by BCC. Currently, the portal provides:

• SEED by BCC: Booking and co-working space facilitation.
• Authentic Maldives: Supplier request facilitation, enabling interested participants to apply directly through the portal.

Use of Our Services

1. By accessing or using our website, you agree not to:
   1. Violate any laws applicable to your use of the Website, including domestic, international and local laws of your jurisdiction that may apply to you;
   2. Violate any policies established by BCC in connection with Kumevi.mv or any policies published hereunder;
   3. Use our service if you are legally prohibited from allowed to use this service (such as if you are underage, have been barred from using our service and so forth);
   4. Post offensive, abusive, sexual, defamatory, false, inaccurate, or deceptive content;
   5. Take any actions that may unfairly influence the ratings or recommendations of products;
   6. Distribute spam, scams, or other harmful online materials;
   7. Engage in crawling, scraping, or spidering any page of the Website or attempt to reverse engineer or obtain the source code of this service;
   8. Interfere with or try to disrupt this service such as by distributing software that may harm the website and its users, such as viruses, malware, and spyware;
   9. Make requests from the website that unreasonably burden its service and slow down its functionality for other users;
   10.    12. Claim ownership of any product displayed in our shop unless you are the vendor who supplied that product.
2. User(s) must ensure that their actions adhere to these terms set out above. Failure to meet these terms may result in disciplinary measures including but not limited to:
   1. Legal Action;
   2. Limiting user access;
   3. Suspending your account and your access to the facilities of BCC and Kumevi.mv
3. We reserve the right to refuse, modify, or terminate all or part of our services to anyone for any reason at our discretion should we believe that they are in violation of our terms or in breach of generally acceptable etiquette.
4. Upon registration, an email will be sent to verify your account within a specified duration. While you may continue to use our service during this period, your service may be interrupted should you exceed the allowed number of days without verification. This measure exists to protect you and your data, such as in the event of password loss or forgetfulness.
5. We may deactivate accounts that have remained inactive for a significant period after notifying the account holder.

Prices & Fees

All prices quoted at checkout are inclusive of applicable fees including taxation and shipping charges. Cross border fees such as customs fees and duties should be paid by the buyer. Our products are quoted in Maldivian Rufiyaa. At checkout, customers will have the option to pay in United States Dollars or any other currency, depending on their preferred payment method. Transactions by locals and persons residing in the Maldives should only be made exclusively in Maldivian Rufiyaa.

Returns & Refunds

It is the user's responsibility to collect the purchased product. The user shall collect the product from our outlets during business hours within 2 working days.

Where the user intends to transport the item, the user shall bear the full cost of any applicable charges including but not limited to transportation expenses, customs duties, tax or levy. BCC shall not be liable for any of such costs.

The user holds the responsibility to inspect the product during collection and ensure that the item is as per the description and in good condition.

During inspection, if the user finds that the product is damaged or part of the item is missing, the user shall inform us of the damage before collection. Such items will be replaced with a similar product. Products returned later will not be replaced or refunded.

Before collection, the user can request to return the product under the following circumstances:

• Item is not as described;
• Item is damaged and does not have a new unfaulty item on stock to replace it.

If any other above criteria are met, and after our investigation, the return request can be approved.

If an item is accepted for return, it shall also be refunded.

The refund shall be processed within 15 working days.

Limitation of Liability

Kumevi.mv does not guarantee the existence, quality, safety, or legality of items listed on the platform; the truth or accuracy of user content; or the ability of vendors to provide items purchased. Further, we cannot guarantee continuous operation or access to our services. You agree that you are using the website and services therein at your own risk, and that they are provided to you on an “as is” and “as available” basis. In no event shall Kumevi.mv or BCC be liable to you or any third party under any claim at law or in equity for losses, including, but not limited to, loss of money, goodwill or reputation, profits, other intangible losses, or any special, indirect, or consequential damages. All such damages or losses are expressly excluded by this Terms and Conditions. Kumevi.mv shall not liable to, and you agree not to hold us responsible for, any damages or losses as mentioned above resulting directly or indirectly.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold BCC harmless from any claim or demand, including legal fees, made by any third party due to or arising out of your improper use of this website and services therein, your breach of this Terms and Conditions, and your breach of any laws or the rights of a third party.

Notices

Except stated otherwise, all notices shall be served to the address provided by the user(s) as contact information. If there are any changes to such given addresses, it shall be updated within 3 (three) days.

Changes and Modifications

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. By continuing to access or use our Service after modifications become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms. If you do not agree to the new terms, you must cease from using our service immediately.

Dispute Resolution

In the event of disputes arising between any parties involved in transactions or otherwise, on Kumevi.mv, it is hereby agreed that such disputes shall be brought to the attention of BCC. The disputing parties commit to engaging in good faith discussions to attempt resolution.

Applicable Law

The terms and conditions and the user agreements between the parties are governed by the laws and regulation of the Republic of Maldives. Any disputes that cannot be resolved through deliberation, will be resolved through the competent courts of the Republic of Maldives. You must agree to uphold and respect the decisions made by the competent courts of the Republic of Maldives.

Miscellaneous

1. If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is held to be invalid, void or for any reason unenforceable, such provision shall be struck out and shall not affect the validity and enforceability of the remaining provisions.
2. Our failure to enforce any part of these Terms and Conditions shall not be construed as a waiver of our right to later enforce that or any other part of the Terms. We reserve right to assign any of our rights and obligations under the Terms.
